- 在纽约上大学的 Michael 和李华，今天在华盛顿参观名胜古跡．他们在对话裡会用到两个常用语： ticked off，另一个是 close call。

- Yes, Ticked, t-i-c-k-e-d, Off, o-f-f, Ticked off means to get angry or annoyed at something. Getting angry at the drivers will not do you any good.
- 哦～， ticked off 的意思是為什麼事情生气．你刚才说的是我对开车的人生气对我没什麼好处．唉，看来啊让我 ticked off 的事啊，还挺多呢！
